Drivers Ed & Writing

Ugh.

So today was my fifth day of drivers ed. In case you were wondering, it's a pain. I did a partner test with a friend and we managed a whopping score of 67. 67! The teacher didn't really read through the part of the book that had the answers to the test questions so that's how I explain the sadly lacking end result. Haven't gotten any of the bonuses or anything yet, which is good because were this a final test, you would need a 70 to pass. So it's not hopeless yet, but yikes. I'm not looking forward to the last two days of this 'driving education' thing. That is quite a boring topic though, so I'll move onto a much better one: WRITING. Last night I added about a page to my book. It's really slow going but I love it, especially when I'm reading other books and notice spots where the author added this instead of that, or seeing places where I would have had trouble. And noticing things in real life that would be really cool to add into a story, or hearing cool names to use. I usually read through movie credits and take a random member of the team and mangle their last name until it's suitable to be used in my other world. It's fascinating to know how the story goes on and ends but not knowing the inner details. Imagine reading a book based entirely off of how fast your imagination is running that day. Usually you open the book and it has the whole thing right there, but sometimes it's just a blank page and you struggle for a word. But you see, being the clever person that I am, sometimes I'll just switch over to an entirely different book and write there. I have all kinds of beginnings; regular modern day, ancient history, fantasy, medieval... A lot. You should try writing. You might be total rubbish at novels and such, but if that's the case try flowing poetry or if you're really desperate, maybe a haiku. NOTE: Really desperate. Haikus are poetry but yikes. Nothing personal, haikus. Great, now I'm talking to a genre. I want to see Guardians of the Galaxy. In case you were wondering. Also Maleficent and The Days of Future Past (which is really confusing if you dissect that title. Anyway. Yeah.).
I gotta go make bacon. Oh yes, one of the best things ever. Have a good evening and don't drown! I should totally get kudos for life advice. Maybe I'll add a bit of that to every post. Hmm. Good thought. You know what else is good? Bacon. So bye. Bacon.

I should get better at thinking of titles

Hello, Sweeties

Okay, so I haven't gotten to River yet, as I have become stuck on Ten's last episode (which sucks, btw) so I am using that opening phrase purely because I can. I should mention; that is a Doctor Who reference. Please note that there may be several things from books or TV shows that I throw in because they sound cool. Once I asked someone, "Do you have some sort of mental affliction?" The correct answer to that question is, "Probably." And then have someone behind you say, "I'm looking into it Sire." But no, she, not being a Merlinian stared at me wondering wether or not to be offended. I quickly had to state I was quoting a show and not simply insulting her for the fun of it (Ah, the irony) and made peace hastily. But come on people, if you want life advice from me, I will say: Watch Merlin. Why? Because it's a really cool show and you totally should. But enough of that. I was originally here to say: In further posts (if there even are any. lol) I will undoubtedly misuse apostrophes and probably have some less-than-great grammar. I also totally blank on words in a sentence cause my mind runs really fast and get distracted kinda easily. But yeah. So… Have a good day! Or evening! Or… Whatever!

I think I may have things figured out!

Okay, so at this point I am a complete stranger to the blogging life. I'mma just figure it out as I go. Wish me luck!
