Nice to meet you, Tardy!
I've been trying to write this up for ages now… and am finally getting to it. I think. Last Saturday I went on a 10 mile trail ride. It was fun and tiring and I had to get up at 6:30 but it was worth it. The weather was perfect and my horse did pretty well, and my back only killed me (MOM IS PLAYING THE SHERLOCK THEME ON THE PIANO SORRY THATS WORTH AN INTERRUPTION) for a few days. It was really cool though. There were somewhere near 6 streams to cross, lots of steep hills, and mud. Some parts of the trail were completely open to the sun, whereas some parts were all closed off under the trees. I would totally go again next year, though hopefully I'll end up behind a horse that doesn't kick. That wasn't very fun. Afterward we hung around for a while, then we ate dinner; southern BBQ. That was tasty. Had some boiled potatoes as well. Agh, my brain is so fried. I cannot think very well. I shall have to depart.
Life advice? Eat potatoes. They're awesome.

So yeah now I'm 15...
… And it's been really thrilling. No really, look at the enthusiasm (*Completely unenthusiastically waves*). But I had really good birthday (*Genuine enthusiasm*). I started out going to the gym (WHICH WAS NOT THE FUN PART) then Mom and I went down to Dover Saddlery in Raleigh which is always awesome. Then because Dad was nearby at work he came over during lunch break and we went to Carolina Ale House, where I did not have any ale, because ale is rather disgusting. Then Mom and I went grocery shopping and Dad returned to work. Pretty good day. I had a really good cake. See, good cake.
Whole Foods cakes are awesome. It's white frosting on vanilla cake, which some people (GLARES AT SISTER WHOSE NAME I WONT MENTION *COUGHSARICOUGH*) don't like that much but I think are fantastic. Then we did presents which are fun. I got custom Converse which are AMAZING. I designed them online and then my aunt ordered them. I got a purse, a maxi skirt, some gum, a sign that says "You had me at *picture of bacon*", and a TARDIS mug… and I can't think anymore but that's what came off the top of my head. Oh and money, yeah.
^I may look busy but I'm watching you.
I must go prepare myself for this evening (so basically i need to shower and eat dinner and put the kids to bed but it's more exciting if you say it the other way). Fare thee well, folks.
Life Advice::::: Buy and burn candles. I really like them and if your house smells good you win cool points. If you are a beginner to the candle world, try something seasonal, like pumpkin spice or leaves or something. Or go with old ye faithful: macintosh apple. Yankee Candle does a really good job with those.

Hey dudes
Hey dudes. In case you didn't get that drift from the title. As I told someone earlier, I occasionally repeat things for those of us who are thicker. Not around the waist, but in the mind. You can be a perfect toothpick and also be the unfortunate owner of the no knowledge brain. I mean seriously, look at supermodels and stuff. They usually look pretty lost. Eoin Macken actually shared the deep fact that models are, indeed, confused when doing a photo shoot. He's Gawain in Merlin, though before his acting he himself was model and that is how he can explain exactly what is in the often lacking thoughts of the poser. Anyway, yeah. Enough of this frivolous talk. Let us get down to the heart of the matter: Tomorrow. I am here to state that on the eve of 4:00 tomorrow morning, near 15 years ago, the world was blessed with my occurrence. A marvelous time, September 22nd. OH HEY. ON THE 18TH THIS MONTH IT WAS A CERTAIN PERSONS BIRTHDAY AND I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO SEND HER AN EMAIL. I AM SORRY, DEAR PERSON. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I will try to remember next year (no guarantees due to my flighty thoughts.). I have a thingy in my mouth that hurts. Owie. And mom is playing piano and it's really chill cause dad is making cookies and everyone is just like yeah we swag. To anyone who watches Merlin (Which is probably very few of you) did you guys ever look at Agravain walking away from an explosion and think someone should edit #SWAGRAVAIN near his person? Yeah, every time. Like, *(*MERLIN SPOILER I THINK*)*
*BOOMCSHHHHBLLLERGGSSSHHH* #SWAGRAVAIN #JUSTTAKINGOVERTHEKINGDOM #MORGANARULZ #LETSKILLARTHURALREADYGUYS
… Ahem. Please excuse my mind. This is where it talks. I can assure you when I write my novels they do not sound anything like this. They're actually comprehensible sentences. But yeah. Hey, Phoenix ate her first mouse at our place the other day! I was in the shower and unfortunately missed the event, but next time I will try to be there. Have a great night, folks, and make sure not to let your cookies burn. That can often cause depression which can cause suicidal thoughts. So cook them until they're a nice chewy texture and be happy!

Life, I guess?
So, as things would have it, we finally ironed out the process and got a snake! This is a female pastel ball python, who we're calling Phoenix. She is currently about 17 inches long and will grow to about 4 feet.
Behold! She's really mellow and basically just chill. It was really neat listening to the guy explain all about the genetics and prices for the different colored scales. Did you know there's this guy who has a few scaleless ones? Weird. Do you like strawberry cake? This is gonna sound odd but I don't really. Like I like strawberries but things that are flavored strawberry just seem fake. I do, however, like Imagine Dragons. A bunch of their songs right now are awesome. Ready, Aim, Fire is awesome. So are Monster, Bleeding Out, Radioactive, It's Time, Demons, Tiptoe, On Top of the World… Yeah. And they sound exactly the same in concert as recorded, which is generally desired. I've been going to the gym recently cause mom hath required it and boy, the combination of no sleep, no breakfast, and an elliptical workout is a bad one. Seriously, I felt like passing out after 5 minutes. But I soldiered on for another 5 and made it 10 before I almost died. To be fair, I am not a lamo (no autocorrect, I'm not a lamp either) and had just done a bunch of treadmilling (AUTOCORRECT I MEANT THAT TO BE ONE WORD) so I have a few valid reasons for stopping earlier than normal.
Life advice? Wear a giant hoodie and sweatpants that don't match. It's fun.

Sorry Phoenix. Also football.
And sadly, the very day we contacted the man who owned Phoenix, he was sold to a random person. Such a tragedy, as that little ball python looked pretty cool, but not much we can do, eh? The guy who owned him has another ball python hatchling, this one a female, and a brighter, more yellower color. She is more expensive, but you never know. Mayhap he'll lower her price. No idea for names though, as Phoenix and Cadmus and Jack are all masculine. Someone came up with the name Jade, but she is neither a stone nor is she green. Ah well. I must say, I recently watched the movie 'Remember the Titans'. I really liked it, A: Because football is cool, and B: Because reasons. I'm not sure why, but I did enjoy it, even though I was sitting on the floor. SPEAKING OF FOOTBALL, IS ANYONE ELSE MAD THE DOLPHINS BEAT THE PATS? Yeah, so I have a little problem with that. I didn't watch the game so I don't know if Belichick (gosh that's how you spell that) just couldn't pull the team together or if Brady just wasn't throwing right, or if Gronk fell on his face or something, but that's depressing. To be fair, they were playing on the Dolphins' field, so they didn't have the fan support, but boy. Pull it together guys.

It Is… Saturday. Barbie Day. Great Egg Toss Day. National Iguana Awareness Day. Read a Book Day.
So. As my title has declared, it is many things today. It is also the last Saturday before my dad starts his new job (YAY). It is the day during which I need to finish Gulliver's Travels, clean the bathroom, and make sure everyone in the house has showered. I should probably remove that bit of nail polish that has stubbornly sat on my finger for about 2 weeks. And I want to make a paracord bracelet too. Oh, and my birthday is coming up sometime this month. September is so exciting. I love Autumn, the first day of which is the day after my birthday (though usually it ON my birthday. Finicky Fall.). The 22nd of September is a marker that there are only 100 days left in the year, which is cool. I love pumpkin pie. I was thinking that learning how to official make up art would be interesting. Not like Hollywood stuff with fake eyelashes but being able to make it look like a person has a bruise or faery eyes or something. Might youtube a bit of that. That has nothing to do with the season. Ah well. Hey, I'm going to try to include a picture! I've never done that before. If this turns out weird blame the computer.
This is the snake we might get. His name would be Phoenix, I think. Found it on a constellation list. My dad had a great point about this name; "Well, you know, whenever he dies you still have hope."
Doubt snakes do much rising from the ashes but hey, you never know. Anyway. Hey, feed my fishes the bottom of the page. They need or they might waste away. Yeah. I need to go do stuff.

Oh hey! Life advice! Completely forgot about that in the last post. Here: Make sure you mow your lawn. Don't want the grass taking over your house or anything.

I PASSED
So guys, it's been a while… Like a few days. But yeah, a while. Just thought I'd throw this out there; I passed my drivers ed test on Friday with a score of 92. I could have down better, blah blah blah, but hey, good enough for me (I am not going to include the fact that we got bonus points and that I have added them to my original score). But yeah, so pretty cool. Now I have to wait until the teacher calls me and I actually get to go on the road… Stressful, waiting is. After that horribly long morning, I got to go out the horse tack consignment sale in Raleigh down at the fairgrounds. It was really cool. And really hot. Wow oxymoron there… Cool as in awesome and hot as in literally 80-or-90-something degrees out. It smelled like leather (which is wonderful) and had a bunch of horsey people milling about inside, a couple of which I knew. I got stirrups and leathers, for my new saddle. Which, by the way, is the Wintec Isabell. Which probably means nothing to you non-horsey people out there, so I will tell you what it is. It is the best saddle Wintec makes, and usually sells for $2,600.00. Needless to say, I got it for much less. It's very comfy and fits me perfectly. Did you know English and Western sizing methods are different? Yeah, it's cool. I'm like a 15 in the Westerns and a 17 in the English. Bizarre. Huh, I thought bizarre had two Zs. Bummer. Two Zs woulda been better. Aaaanyway. Erg, True and mom just had fish so the whole kitchen stinks. Seafood, anyone? Yeah, not me. Thanks though. I don't really have much to say… Oh, I got a really painful sunburn! And there's supposedly an alligator in Falls Lake. So, you know, be wary. I just stabbed my gum with my nail. Ow. I've been sporadically working on this post for like 2 days. Boy. Hey, for the next three weeks my square dancing club is having a free training session each Monday night. Feel free to stop by! Also we're getting a snake soon. Which is pretty cool. I have to go do dishes. Blerg. Toodles, folks.

Drivers Ed & Writing
Ugh.
So today was my fifth day of drivers ed. In case you were wondering, it's a pain. I did a partner test with a friend and we managed a whopping score of 67. 67! The teacher didn't really read through the part of the book that had the answers to the test questions so that's how I explain the sadly lacking end result. Haven't gotten any of the bonuses or anything yet, which is good because were this a final test, you would need a 70 to pass. So it's not hopeless yet, but yikes. I'm not looking forward to the last two days of this 'driving education' thing. That is quite a boring topic though, so I'll move onto a much better one: WRITING. Last night I added about a page to my book. It's really slow going but I love it, especially when I'm reading other books and notice spots where the author added this instead of that, or seeing places where I would have had trouble. And noticing things in real life that would be really cool to add into a story, or hearing cool names to use. I usually read through movie credits and take a random member of the team and mangle their last name until it's suitable to be used in my other world. It's fascinating to know how the story goes on and ends but not knowing the inner details. Imagine reading a book based entirely off of how fast your imagination is running that day. Usually you open the book and it has the whole thing right there, but sometimes it's just a blank page and you struggle for a word. But you see, being the clever person that I am, sometimes I'll just switch over to an entirely different book and write there. I have all kinds of beginnings; regular modern day, ancient history, fantasy, medieval... A lot. You should try writing. You might be total rubbish at novels and such, but if that's the case try flowing poetry or if you're really desperate, maybe a haiku. NOTE: Really desperate. Haikus are poetry but yikes. Nothing personal, haikus. Great, now I'm talking to a genre. I want to see Guardians of the Galaxy. In case you were wondering. Also Maleficent and The Days of Future Past (which is really confusing if you dissect that title. Anyway. Yeah.).
I gotta go make bacon. Oh yes, one of the best things ever. Have a good evening and don't drown! I should totally get kudos for life advice. Maybe I'll add a bit of that to every post. Hmm. Good thought. You know what else is good? Bacon. So bye. Bacon.

I should get better at thinking of titles
Hello, Sweeties
Okay, so I haven't gotten to River yet, as I have become stuck on Ten's last episode (which sucks, btw) so I am using that opening phrase purely because I can. I should mention; that is a Doctor Who reference. Please note that there may be several things from books or TV shows that I throw in because they sound cool. Once I asked someone, "Do you have some sort of mental affliction?" The correct answer to that question is, "Probably." And then have someone behind you say, "I'm looking into it Sire." But no, she, not being a Merlinian stared at me wondering wether or not to be offended. I quickly had to state I was quoting a show and not simply insulting her for the fun of it (Ah, the irony) and made peace hastily. But come on people, if you want life advice from me, I will say: Watch Merlin. Why? Because it's a really cool show and you totally should. But enough of that. I was originally here to say: In further posts (if there even are any. lol) I will undoubtedly misuse apostrophes and probably have some less-than-great grammar. I also totally blank on words in a sentence cause my mind runs really fast and get distracted kinda easily. But yeah. So… Have a good day! Or evening! Or… Whatever!
